Arts & Letters Creative Co.- Senior Producer; Richmond, VA - November 2019 - Present

Produced projects of all shapes and sizes for many of the agency's clients including NFL, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Google Photos, Google Chromebook, Google Nest, Google Cloud, NBC Today Show, Spacebomb (music video), Google Assistant, and Google Pixel. 

As a producer at A&L, we also focus on full project development, project management in the creative concepting phase, working on New Business opportunities and growing developing talent.  This includes prototypes of all kinds in conjunction with XYZ and our internal post production capabilities.

The Martin Agency - Business Affairs Manager/Content Producer Hybrid; Richmond, VA – November 2017 – November 2019

Supporting Business Affairs needs across multiple agency departments and clients including Discover Card, TIAA, Sabra, Hanes, Golf Now, Lidl and Geico. Often managed individual production projects alongside BA responsibilities.

The Martin Agency and S2 (formerly Studio Squared); Richmond, VA – 2009 to November 2017

Senior Producer – September 2015 to November 2017. Previous positions held, Producer –May 2010 to September 2015 and Associate Producer – May 2009 to May 2010.

From 2008 to 2018, Studio Squared was an owned and operated division of IPG’s The Martin Agency specializing in content advertising. 

We managed the in-store network for the world’s largest retailer, Walmart. The Walmart Smart Network (WSN) consisted of 24,000 screens throughout the U.S. netting over 140 million views weekly. Campaigns for the WSN included Walmart branded content and campaigns for over 150 of their CPG suppliers (i.e. Colgate, Starbucks, P&G brands, etc.). Over 2,500 spots were produced annually. In addition to the WSN, we produced menu boards, online and social content.

The WSN was a primary focus in my day-to-day responsibilities. The spots produced vary in format and length. Vertical and horizontal spots are produced at lengths between :05 to over 2 minutes. I managed three to seven campaigns simultaneously with production timelines typically ranging from two to six weeks. Responsibilities included budgeting, pre-production, post-production, all talent needs, and liaising with account management and our creative department ensuring all requirements are met. Campaigns included elements such as 2D and 3D graphics, character animation, product shoots, location shoots, original set design, on-camera dialogue, product demonstration, food preparation, celebrity spokespersons and Hispanic campaigns. Additionally, I managed all job assignments for supplier projects to our production team and assisted with business affairs needs.

During the 2015 holiday season, I produced two online campaigns for Walmart – “Gathering” and “Food Hacks.” 18 spots were produced over a 3-month period. Spots aired on YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Vine, and Pinterest. As published in AdAge on December 18, 2015, the “Food Hacks” campaign was the 7th most viewed holiday online campaign for 2015 with 19 million views in total. 

I attended The Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and NRF’s 2017 Retail’s Big Show in New York. We exhibited, held speaking engagements and attended industry-relevant seminars. I managed the content production for our exhibit as well as engaged and aided in discussions with potential clients.

Hot House Yoga - Freelance Marketing and Social Media; Richmond, VA April 2016 to July 2017

Assisted in the management of all Hot House Yoga marketing and social media presence. I managed the Facebook and Instagram accounts, assisted in revenue-increasing initiatives, regional ad development and delivery, and generation of ads via social media accounts.

BBDO Detroit; Troy, MI – 2005 to 2009

Associate Producer – March 2007 to November 2008

Solely managed, coordinated and produced all work for the Live Retail system (March 2007-May 2008). Live Retail was an internet-based interface used for creating and revising incentive messages. Monthly work typically reached 70-100 spots. Additional projects included revising existing spots, national and regional radio spots, and Hispanic market spots. 

Coordinated and supervised all editorial, graphics, record and mix sessions, post score or stock music selection, implementing creative direction, incorporating legal revisions, scheduling, and monitoring budgets. Attended multiple local shoots and in June of 2008, assigned to my first shoot for a national sales event.

Production Coordinator – January 2005 to March 2007

Managed the broadcast needs for all retail associations and national workflow for Chrysler and Jeep. Served as a liaison between the broadcast business team, producers, post-production facilities, talent agencies, and account teams. Other responsibilities included obtaining vendor bids, monitoring budgets, and providing the producers and creative teams with needed assets.
